General use:

° nickname and password:
in the login page, choose a nickname and a password. The password will protect your nick against nick robbers.

° select a channel:
in the login page select a channel. The numbers before the channel title represent the connected users.

° swap channel in the chat:
in a channel room, you can move to another channel, tap on the top button "chan." to display it.

° write your messages:
to write messages, tap on the input field at the bottom window, write your message and on iPhone, tap on the big key "Return" or on the button "chat" to send. If you hit the "Return" button, the keyboard will stay open.

° to quit the chat properly:
use the top button "quit" to quit properly. This button will display an prompt window where you can drop a goodbye message.

Users pannel:

° button "users":
at the bottom, tap on the "users" button to open users pannel. This button display the number of connected users in this channel.

° set your profile:
the first button offers the possibility to set your gender and birth date.

° select an user:
in the pannel users, tap on the scrolling menu "Users" and select an user to show informations and to accomplish an action.

° private messages:
when an user is selected, tap on private message to launch a private channel. The sender will be moved to the private channel. The reciever will got a alert message and his channel pannel will open.

° send flash:
when an user is selected, tap on "Send a flash", the selected user will recieve flash colors on his iPhone or a ringtone on a computer.

° short text:
when an user is selected, tap on "Short text", a alert window wil appears, write your short message. The reciever will see the same window with your message. He can cancel it or reply.

Settings pannel:

° button "Settings":
at the bottom, tap on the "Settings" button to open settings pannel. In this pannel, you can set various options.

° text color:
tap on the text color drop menu and pick a color name. Try to choose a readable color.

° nickname:
you can change your name and valid it with the button "ok". If you choose a already used nick, Minou will announce to you than the nickname is protected by a password. The authorized characters are: A-Z, 0-9, _, -, |, @

° wallpaper:
select a wallpaper or color to your mood. If you want to save your battery life, select a dark color or the DarkiPhone wallpaper.

° text size:
tap on the button "Ab" to change the text size of the messages window. There is 2 text sizes.

° refresh interval:
Minou Chat use a system of requests to detect new messages, number of connected users, various alerts... This requests are sending by intervals. Set a short interval to display message quickly, set to 6 secondes to save your battery life. The mode "Auto" uses a dynamic value depending of the chat activity. This interval fluctuates between 2 and 7 secondes.

° various buttons:
Use button "clear" to clear the messages window (only your window will be cleared). Use "ping" to display your ping request, the number of secondes used by request to make a loop with the server. "back to login" is used to display the login page.
